Microsoft certification charter member

Can you please explain the term charter. Is this of any advantage to have this title? Kindly elaborate. Charter members are candidate s who achieve the new certification within 6 months from when it was first available.

You will be able to download a special version of the certificate which identifies you as a Charter member. Therefore, they are effectively always new.
